Price in Maryland and professionally operated as an oyster buy boat until 1958, she was purchased by boatbuilder and yachtsman Slade Dale, converted into a cruising yacht and renamed, COASTAL QUEEN. Since then she has lived her name to the fullest, plying the waters from the Bahamas to Eastern Maine, St. Lawrence Seaway and Mississippi River, turning heads in every port of call.25 years ago she was purchased by an extremely accomplished racing sailor, as the ‘mothership’ for his yacht. In short order, she became the mothership of the Fleet, and the social hub of every regatta she attended! The iconic Coastal Queen at 90 years old, has a fully sound wood hull and structure, proven machinery, modern electronics and three decks of gracious accommodations.
